At Genie Wash, we recommend the level of cleaning based on the condition of your interior and the type of dirt we’re trying to remove — rather than automatically recommending the deepest clean.
For a reasonably maintained interior with dust, crumbs and everyday dirt, a thorough vacuum and wipe-down may be enough.
If surfaces have become sticky or oily, debris is lodged in crevices, or the cabin has developed a dull, stale odour, steam cleaning may be more suitable.
When oil and dirt are embedded into plastics, leather or fabric cushions, or there are stains that need treatment, shampooing may be required.

If surfaces are sticky, oily or difficult to clean, or dirt is trapped in crevices, steam cleaning may be more appropriate.
Shampooing becomes useful when grime is embedded into the material itself, fabric cushions require deeper cleaning, or stains need treatment.
The cleaning method should match the condition of the interior.
Many stains can be improved or removed through shampooing and targeted stain treatment, but complete removal cannot always be guaranteed.
The result depends on what caused the stain, the material affected, how long the stain has been present and whether previous cleaning attempts have been made.
For interiors requiring stain treatment, Genie Wash includes shampooing and stain treatment in Interior Premium.
Car interior cleaning prices in Singapore can vary significantly because the term “deep cleaning” doesn’t always refer to the same process.
One service may primarily include vacuuming and surface cleaning, while another may include steam cleaning, shampooing and stain treatment.
When comparing prices, customers should check what is actually included. A basic vacuum-and-wipe service is therefore not directly comparable with an interior service that includes steam cleaning or shampooing.

The amount of time required depends on the size and condition of the car and the cleaning methods required.
A routine interior vacuum and wipe-down, Interior Basic could take 1 hour to 1.5 hours.
Steam cleaning, Interior Plus could take around 2 hours to 3 hours.
An interior requiring shampooing, Interior Premium could take around 2.5 hours to 3.5 hours.
